PWD Home recently completed a custom duplex addition at Preston Lake Homes to transform two smaller outdoor areas into connected spaces designed for comfort, flexibility, and time outside. What began as an idea for a larger deck grew into an enclosed three-season room, open deck areas, and a stamped concrete patio below.

A whole-home renovation in Mt. Jackson turned a bare concrete den and a plaster-walled kitchen into bright, functional spaces, while carefully preserving original details like cast-iron pocket doors and a restored handrail. From a leveled kitchen floor to a reimagined master suite with a clawfoot tub, this PWD Home project proves character and modern function can coexist.

Working closely with the homeowner, our team at PWD Home thoughtfully updated key areas of the home while preserving the character and details that made it unique. From improving energy efficiency to fully transforming the interior spaces, every decision was guided by long-term performance and livability.

Over the course of several months, our team worked with the homeowner to update some of the most used areas in their home. The goal was not to completely redesign the layout, but to improve function, overall flow, and give the home a fresh, cohesive feel. Our work focused primarily on the kitchen, master bathroom, and an additional hallway bathroom.
