A Full Home Renovation Designed for Comfort and Everyday Living

This full home remodel started with a simple goal — create a space that feels more comfortable, functions better day to day, and truly supports how the homeowner lives.

Working closely with the homeowner, our team at PWD Home thoughtfully updated key areas of the home while preserving the character and details that made it unique. From improving energy efficiency to fully transforming the interior spaces, every decision was guided by long-term performance and livability.

New Windows for Improved Efficiency and Comfort

One of the first major updates was replacing all of the existing windows with new ProVia windows. The original windows had begun to fail, with visible wear and compromised seals that allowed outside air to move freely into the home, making it difficult to control indoor temperatures.

With the new windows in place, the home is noticeably more energy efficient. The improved insulation helps regulate indoor temperatures more effectively, reducing drafts and creating a more consistent environment throughout the home.

A Fully Reimagined Kitchen

The kitchen underwent a complete transformation, starting from the studs. The entire space was stripped down, allowing it to be rebuilt from the ground up with improved functionality and modern features.

Our team installed new plumbing and electrical, including updated wiring for outlets and under-cabinet lighting. These upgrades not only improve daily use but also add to the overall efficiency and usability of the space.

The homeowner selected panel-ready appliances, giving the kitchen a streamlined appearance with a cohesive, built-in feel. The result is a space that is both highly functional and visually refined.

Updating the Living Room

The living room received a full refresh to match the rest of the home. Our team repainted the space and completed drywall repairs to give it a clean, finished look.

One of the most impactful changes came from the flooring. We removed the original carpet along with all padding, nails, and staples, then installed new hardwood flooring carefully matched to the existing wood in the home, creating a seamless transition from room to room.

Refreshing the Sunroom

Our team updated the sunroom to better match the homeowner's lifestyle and take full advantage of the space. We removed a previous sliding glass door and finished the opening with clean trim work.

New tile flooring was installed, bringing the space back to life with a durable surface that feels both fresh and inviting. With large windows framing views of the surrounding mountains and direct access to the backyard, the sunroom now stands out as a unique space in the home. It offers a quiet place to unwind, connect with the outdoors, and enjoy natural light throughout the day, all while remaining comfortably inside.

A Home Built to Be Enjoyed

From new windows to a fully renovated kitchen and refreshed living spaces, this project reflects PWD Home's thoughtful approach to improving a home while respecting its original character. Each update was made with the homeowner's goals in mind, resulting in a space that feels more comfortable, more functional, and better suited for everyday living.

Most importantly, the homeowner is enjoying the finished result, and that's what quality craftsmanship is all about.
