A Master Suite and Outdoor Living Transformation
We worked with Pamela and Dan on a major home renovation that brought new functionality and style to every part of their home, including the den, master suite, and outdoor living spaces.
A Master Suite Reimagined
The master closet features a California Closet system with custom storage. The original room was a simple square with small closets on each side and a fireplace. By reimagining the layout, the space now feels open, functional, and tailored to Pamela and Dan’s needs.
The master bathroom was an addition to the original house. A former window became a doorway leading into a curved wall with casement windows, offering wide views of the farm and a breeze when opened. Cabinets from Mill Cabinet tie the room together with quality craftsmanship. We also carried some of the design elements into the accessory bathrooms, to create a look that flows throughout the home.
Modern Updates in the Den
The den was completely rebuilt on new footers and now includes updated flooring matched to the home’s original heart pine. Every fireplace in the house was redone, including a double-sided indoor/outdoor fireplace between the den and the screened porch. Electrical systems were updated for better functionality, and accent lighting was added throughout the house to highlight key areas.
Expanding Outdoor Living
The new porch features Sunspace windows that can raise and lower independently, keeping the space flexible, and low-maintenance PVC trim. The pool and patio area got a full refresh with stamped concrete, a rounded deck for lounging, a custom stucco planter bed for drainage, a new pool liner with a remote-controlled cover, and an outdoor fireplace that is perfect for entertaining.
Meeting History with Modern Living
This project required careful planning due to the age of the home. Our team navigated brick walls, updated plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems, and integrated modern functionality while respecting the home’s character.
